Shaping grant writing talent

and powering non-profit success

What is a Grant?

A grant is a form of financial aid given to non-profit organizations* to support their programs and services. Unlike loans, grants do not require repayment or accrue interest.
Obtaining a grant is a competitive process, and organizations must submit applications that are persuasive and fact-based.
Grants can comprise a significant portion of a non-profit organization's budget, and can offer a good return on investment compared to other fundraising activities.
So, it might be time to consider your side hustle as a freelance grant writer…or maybe it's time to invest in grant writing skills to support a cause or a specific non-profit organization you already love?
*There are other kinds of grants out there including for-profit, investigator, and research grants, however, Cauthen Collaborative specializes in grants for non-profit organizations.)
